The Size Queen EP — a five-track release blending queer joy, disco-futurism, and celebratory sexuality as a path to healing shame.

ARTIST VISION 

Size Queen is a reclamation project. 

It’s about joy as resistance. Sexiness as power. Pleasure as liberation when shame has tried to smother it. These songs treat desire not as spectacle, but as metaphor for identity, embodiment, and self-worth. Musically, the EP sits where Prince meets Janelle Monáe; where Janet Jackson meets Jessie Ware — uptempo, bass-driven, lush harmonies, a little sweaty, absolutely alive. 

Three new records will be produced and packaged with two prior singles for a spring release. 

WHY SUPPORT THIS PROJECT 

This EP uplifts queer expression without apology.

It centers community over spectacle, creating space for listeners who deserve celebration instead of survival mode. Funding enables a team of queer musicians and vocalists to bring these songs to life — not as a DIY scrap-together, but as a professionally crafted, high-impact work.

• Studio time (2 days)

• Session musicians & featured vocalists

• Photography + visual assets

• Technology upgrade to complete production

• Print CDs or physical media

• Stretch goal: additional production turning EP → album 

This is not just music — it’s infrastructure for more queer art to exist. 

Contributions also support The Wavy Awards’ vision to create a mutual aid fund for under represented independent artists.

As a Wavys Ambassador, donations made to the Wavys on my behalf are allotted to my project budget. This helps provide oversight, accountability, and (most important) motivation to bring the vision for Size Queen to reality.
